Product categories

Components made to your drawing.

Danca does not sell a fixed range of standard products. Components are manufactured to the customer's drawing, sample or functional requirement — the categories below are practical examples, not a closed catalogue.

Material groups

Products made from metals and engineering plastics

The right material is confirmed at quotation against the component's strength, wear, corrosion and application requirements.

MAT·01

Mild & high-tensile steel

Structural, wear, fastening and general industrial components where strength and durability are the priority.

Mild or high-tensile steel components

MAT·02

Stainless steel

Corrosion-resistant components — including grade 316 where the application calls for it — for marine, food, plumbing and exposed environments.

Stainless steel components

MAT·03

Brass, bronze & copper

Fittings, bushes, nozzles, electrical components and other parts suited to non-ferrous alloys.

Brass, bronze or copper components

MAT·04

Aluminium

Lightweight housings, brackets and enclosures, and components requiring good machinability or corrosion resistance.

Aluminium housings or brackets

MAT·05

Engineering plastics & PTFE

Lightweight, insulating, low-friction or corrosion-resistant components manufactured to specification.

Cold-headed components

Bolts, screws, pins, connectors, clips, washers and custom fasteners formed for repeat production — see cold-headed parts.

Custom, replacement & obsolete parts

When the part is not available off the shelf.

Not every component can be bought from a catalogue. When a part is discontinued, imported with long lead times, or simply never existed, Danca can often manufacture it from a supplied drawing — or help document an existing sample so it can be made.

Reproduction from a sample depends on the part: geometry, material and function need to be established, and protected or regulated products require the appropriate documentation and authorisation before work begins.

What Danca can manufacture Reviewed at quote
  • Custom components for new products
  • Replacement parts from supplied drawings
  • Components based on an existing sample
  • Obsolete or difficult-to-source parts
  • Modified versions of existing components
  • Prototype parts before production
  • Repeat components under a retained production process

Cold-headed products

Cold-headed parts for repeat production.

Where the component geometry, material and production quantity suit it, forming a part cold can be more efficient than machining the complete shape from bar stock — typically for bolts, screws, pins, rivets, connectors, clips, washers and custom fasteners.

Capacity depends on the tooling, material and component geometry, and is confirmed at quotation. Cold-headed parts are often combined with thread forming and rolling and supplied as scheduled batches through repetition engineering.

Quality control

Checked against your specification.

Every product is manufactured under Danca's ISO-accredited quality system. The drawing and its revision are reviewed before production, dimensions are checked during machining, and the completed product is inspected before delivery.

For repeat orders, the retained production process keeps batches consistent order after order. Material certificates and inspection records are available where requested.
